Shahzela, 1995 Chestnut Mare, is a very athletic mare, she is known to jump fences and change pastures at will. At first I blamed my friends for moving her around but they said they never moved her. Then one day I was sitting at the window and saw her take a good run and clear a 5 foot fence, trot across the driveway and jump a 4 foot fence into the front yard. There simply was no keeping her where she did not wat to be.

Early one morning the stallions started to call out. We went to see what was going on and found Shahzela impailed on a new fence post we were working on. It was a 6 foot post more than 3 feet away from the original fence. she had tried to jump the 5 foot fence but this new post was in her way and this is what she came down on. The post went in just behind her front leg and came out her whithers. She had almost 2000 stitches. We were told to just put her down as we would be losing all the skin on her side. I chose not to do that. We treated her and did not lose any skin and she healed up just fine. She did lose a little muscle from the post so her scar is a little lumpy.

She was in foal when she made this jump and had a beautiful filly a few months later. She has given us 3 foals todate and will be bred to our new black Hadban stallion of Ruminaja Ali bloodlines.

Shahzela is available in foal to the new black.

    Zarela and Ansata Shah Zam

Zarela is a very beautiful daughter of Imperial Emperor, her dam was the very athlatic *Asadd daughter Zar El Asaddia. I have seen many of the mares in this family and loved every one of them. They are my type of horse. They are war mares, tough, beautiful and loyal.

Ansata Shah Zam was a show horse and a breeding horse. I love the way his daughter produces. I have not seen enough of them to say but do wonder if he will one day be known as a Broodmare sire. 1977 US National Champion Futurity Colt, 1978 Canadian Reserve National Champion Stallion, 1979 US Top 10, 1980 US Top 10.
