JA HadbaElSaghira, 1993 grey mare,
1992 was a very important year for Sheykh Obeyd breeding.
This was the year that AK Shesarra was bred to the exciting black Raadin Inshalla son,
Hallanny Mistanny.This breeding would bring some
very important out-cross blood into the inbred *Tuhotmos line of the Hadbans.
Hadba is very reminicent of the horses belonging to the Prince's of old Egypt.
Her pdigree combines the very best in old Royal Agricultural Soceity
breeding with that of Prince Mohammad Ali,
Moniet El Nefous with Bint Serra and Negma, the cross was outstanding.
She is small, full bodied mare with exquisite type.
Her huge eyes stand out with soulful intensity. She is perky and interested in everything.
JA Hadba El Saghira was born black but would soon be a beautiful glistening white, like her mother.
While AK Shesarra was still in foal with Hadba El Saghira,
she was sold to a breeder as thier premeir foundation mare. Hadba came back to her breeder when she was about 7 months old.
She was small for her age and seemed to be lacking the zest that most young horses have.
It was soon learned that very shortly after being born Hadba became sick.
Tests revealed that she had contracted Rhodococcus Equi Pneumonia and came very close to death.
With extreme care and aggresive treatment, Hadba lived. She was stunted due to her illness
and never reached her full potential in size but makes up for that with her huge heart
and zest for life.
Hadba has had three foals that suffered a tragic deaths.
When her 2005 filly was born, we expected her to adore it. But on day
three she looked at it like she ws saying
"AND just what are you still doing here?". The following day all was well,
she and the baby became good friends. We named the baby "Hadba Shahrzada" after ther great great grandmother.
A True Daughter of the Desert!

AK Shesarra is the first daughter of our foundation mare Bint Masarra. She has given the world many foals, mostly daughters.
she is alive and well and in foal to Meadow Mahonri for 2009. She is a tall and beautiful mare and possibly the best producer of all the Hadba mares.
She is all new Egyptian, Straight, Sheykh Obeyd and Asil.
Hallanny Mistanny is named after his Great Great Grandsire, Hallany Mistanny!
He is the only son the Masada Saafaana who is the ONLY Sheykh Obeyd Hallany Mistanny granddaughter.
He is also the only Black Sheykh Obeyd son of Raadin Inshalla! Blue Black, Sheykh Obeyd, Straight Egyptian, Pre RAS, Asil and Blue List
