  • Hadba El Zaafarana

Hadba El Zaafarana, 2007 Black-Grey Mare, is a beautiful and showy. She is very tall for her age and we think she is going to be right around the 15 hand mark. She is very typey with beautiful legs, is athletic and wonderful to work with. She is very smart and loves it when you are paying attention to her. Zaafarana got her name from her sire and her dam. They are half brother/sister both out of our foundation mare Glorieta Dalima. Dalima was sired by Ansata Abu Nazeer and his mother was Ansata Bint Zaafarana. Mahrdalim El Nisr has an additional cross to Ansata Bint Zaafarana through his sire who is a grandson of Ansata El Nisr.

    Double Glorieta Dalima Granddaughter!

Mijan Bint Dalima and Mahrdalim El Nisr

The mythological Venus was the Goddess of Love, she was hailed far and wide in regard to her beauty but she is plain compared to the extreme beauty of Bint Dalima.

Now that her dam Glorieta Dalima is gone, Bint Dalima is left to carry on the tradition of producing both athletic ability and beauty. The title of "Matriarch" is passed down to Bint Dalima as the oldest Sheykh Obeyd daughter here. (We have two more in the wings.) Her foals have not disappointed us in the least. Each seems better than the last.

He is a very exotic stallion with extreme movement. A powerhouse with a sweet disposition. Our Nisr is one of only two Sheykh Obeyd sons of Glorieta Dalima, one of our foundation mares, and sired by the Dahman Shahwan stallion Apple Hill El Nisr. Apple Hill El Nisr combines the blood of Moniet El Nefous with that of Zaafarana for a rare beauty with athletic ability to spare. When he was bred to Glorieta Dalima it gave Mahrdalim El Nisr two crosses to Zaafarana for some of the most extreme movement available within the Straight Egyptian gene pool. The beauty and type that Dalima passes to her foals, was also passed to her son. His head is beautiful with huge eyes and perfect little ears. Large jowls and a tiny muzzle with huge nostrils. He is perfectly beautiful with the ability to pass these great traits on to his foals.
