Welcome to Zee Ranch Egyptian Arabian Horses!

We are a small farm outside of Phoenix Arizona. We don't have lovely green pastures
to show you nor do we have a big fancy show barn. Our horses are raised in the desert as
they were in Arabia and Egypt. It is hot here, it is sandy and the horses seem to
thrive on it. They are born in the tradition of the Bedouin,
where their first breath taken in life, is that of the "Hot Desert Air"
Courage and Strength... Loyalty and Kindness... Beauty and Endurance...

When we began our quest to preserve what was left of one very rare strain found within Straight Egyptian Arabians of Sheykh Obeyd breeding, there were only 35 horses descending in tail-female still living and available to start a breeding program. That strain is the Hadban Enzahi. Gathering them together for the first time in history became a challenge. Owners did not want to part with these beautiful horses but soon they saw our vision and understood our dedication, then one by one we were allowed bring them home. Bint Masarra, Glorieta Dalima and *AK Jaheena were our foundation mares. They are gone now but all the horses here descend from these three beautiful matriarchs.
*AK Jaheena was in her late 20's when she came to us. She did not produce any foals here but we were able to buy her two son's, Meadow Mahonri and Hadban Al Nazhi. When she died, at age 32, her tail female line died too. Jaheena was the last of her line, there are no Sheykh Obeyd females to breed forward.

Bint Masarra was 22 when she came here to live and did not produce any foals for us either. We were able to buy her daughter AK Shesarra and several her daughters. We were also able to aquire Hadban El Sareei, a son by Inshalla Imhotep. We lost Bint Masarra just a month short of her 29th birthday.

Glorieta Dalima was 20 when she moved from Ohio to Arizona, she came with her daughter Bint Dalima. Glorieta Dalima produced two daughters for us before we lost her to cancer. Dalima was 24 years old when she died.
