  • AK shesarra

AK Shesarra, 1984 Grey Mare, has been bred to some wonderful Sheykh Obeyd stallions. Her first foal was sired by the legendary Raadin Inshalla. Hadbah Halima was born in 1989. Next came JA Hadba El Saghira sired by Hallanny Mistanny. She was them bred to Jubilee Halima for two fillies, SRF Sherilee and the second however was never registered. Rasmoniet RSI tops the list of famous stallions as the sire of SRF Shezada, the 1997 mare. Apple Hill El Nisr is the sire REA Bint Shesarra born in 1998. Then AK Shesarra was bred to Masada El Shahwan for her first bay colored filly born in 2001. This filly however died when she was two days old. In 2001 she was bred to Mahrdalim EL Nisr for her first pure in Strain foal. Hadban Ibn Shesarra was born in 2002. Shesarra's first colt and her first Pure in Strain foal. She was bred to Meadow Mahonri for another Pure in Strain Hadban Enzahi Filly. shesarra lost her next two foals, both colts and is currently in foal to Meadow Mahonri.

AK Shesarra gave birth to a black filly by Meadow Mahonri. Her name is Hadba El Sherifa after both her grand sires, Ansata El Sherif and Kamars Sharif. She will be grey and is possiby Shesarras most beautiful and correct foal to date.

When bred to Hadban El Sareei, shesarra had a beautiful chestnut colt, Hadban Ibn Masarra. Sadly, he died from Valley Fever. It was such a loss for us. Many dedicated breeders are in possession of these remarkable horses and will be breeding them for replacement. Every one of these horses are correct and beautiful. If bred well, we should continue to see improvement and high quality horses come from this rare and very valuable line.

Bint Masarra & Ansata El Sherif

Every once in a while there is an unexpected, happy accident. Such is the case with the creation of Bint Masarra. Rick and Ann Heber imported the immortal *Tuhotmos and several of his daughters. One of the daughters was *Masarra the Sheykh Obeyd Hadba Enzahi mare out of Bint El Nil, owned by the Lowe family. While *Masarra was out in the pasture happily grazing with her friends, *Tuhotmos was outside getting some exercise. He noticed the mares in the pasture and decided to pay them a visit. *Tuhotmos jumped over his fence and into the pasture with the mares. *Masarra was in season and as nature will, a mating took place. The resulting foal was to be the inbred Bint Masarra. Now, I don't know if this is really the way it happened or if this is just a legend but I am sure glad the mating took place. Bint Masarra has lived a long and productive life. Most of her foals have been wonderful, a few have been extraordinary.

Ansata El Sherif was a beautiful horse. He was balanced head to toe, Arabian type in spades. He was compact with a lovely head and eye He was talented under saddle, winning many of his classes, from halter to Ladies Side saddle, he a very accomplished show horse. he has been described as a "fairytale" type of white stallion, very true to his Dahman strain.
