Abu Waheeb, 2007 Bay Stallion, We are very please to announce the arrival of Abu Waheeb MA! Chris Warren of Mahrus Arabian kindly allowed us to have the last born son the our original imported foundation stallion *Waheeb! Abu Waheeb is the spitting image of his sire at the same age. He is correct and will be competing in sporthorse in hand this coming year. While noting will replace my beloved *Waheeb, his son and daughters have been a great blessing.

That Abu Waheeb came to me is nothing short of a true blessing. His sire, *Waheeb was my very first Straight Egyptian. He was my "Everything" horse. My best friend, my riding horse and the sire of many beautiful foals for me. While he had mostly fillies, and I treasured each one, he never sired a colt that I felt was his replacement.

A mare owned by my good friend Chris came in to be bred to Mahonri. She had just weaned her first filly and we were having a hard time telling if she was in heat or not. Well, trusty ole *Waheeb would help us out. *Waheeb was very good with the mares, he could live next to them and never try to breed over the fence but he made sure I knew shen she was ready. I saw that she was in heat and was planning to breed her the next day. When I got up that morning the fence between them had been knocked "into" *Waheebs pen. Both mare and stallion were happy as can be. Aliya made the choice to break down the fence to get in with *Waheeb. I went in with a halter but do you think I could catch her? Heck no, she would not let me near her. I called Chris and told her what happened. She was not real happy and 11 months later, Abu Waheeb was born.

I loved him from the photos Chris sent but never did I think I would be blessed with him.

The legacy of *Waheeb continues !
